It serves both as a flux and a slag improver, enhancing mechanical properties and facilitating work in various positions. The flexible and pliable coating ensures ease of use. Designed for brazing a wide range of common metals and alloys, the SUPERIX AG E is suitable for cast steels, non-alloy steels, mechanical cast irons, malleable irons, copper alloys (copper brass, bronze, cupro-nickel, cupro-aluminum, monel), and nickel. Galvanized elements can be brazed without compromising their protective coating. This welding rod finds applications in diverse fields such as construction and repair work, including automotive bodywork, locksmithing, metal furniture and carpentry, tubular structures, decorative elements, maintenance, and repairs. The SUPERIX AG E can be used with oxy-acetylene, oxy-propane, or oxy-natural gas flames, with or without a flux.
